The Agri-Fab 45-0362 Tow Behind rough cut mower is especially designed for cutting large areas of non-formal areas of grass/paddocks. It has a cutting width of 42"/107cm and features a powerful 14.5 hp Briggs & Stratton engine, complete with electric start. The cutting height can be easily adjusted from 1.5"/4cm to 5"/13cm. The cutting system has 5.5lb dual break away blades that are designed to break back when striking an immovable object, giving protection to the cutter drive system and allowing the engine to keep on running without stalling - minimising potential damage. The tow behind unit has chains at the front prevent material from flying forward when cutting. The unit can be offset with its swivel hitch point, so the towing vehicle does not have to travel on uncut grass. This Rough Cutter can be towed behind many vehicles but is especially suitable for ATV, Utility Vehicles and medium and large Garden Tractors.

SCH FM42 Towed Flail Mower.

The SCH FM42 Towed Flail Mower is powerful and strong, towed, long grass cutter with a working width of 1070mm (42"). This unit is ideal for maintaining rough grassed areas, pasture land, woodland etc. A one piece roller mounted at the rear of the cutter alleviates scalping. Transport wheels fitted as standard. The throttle control and engine on/off switch can be easily reached from the Quad seat. The 42 cutting flails are driven by two 'V' belts powered by a 9Hp Honda engine with electric start.

SCH FM48 HD Towed Flail Mower

SCH FM48 HD Towed Flail Mower.

The SCH FM48 Towed Flail is a heavy duty flail mower has been introduced to the range of SCH equipment to fulfil the need for a bigger unit for greater Hp tractors (18Hp and above).

The main two differences between our small unit, the FM42 are firstly that it has a wider cut and secondly it has a centre positioned 13Hp Honda engine with electric start. This increase in engine size can more than adequately cope with the increased cutting width.

The transport wheels are situated at the side of the machine.

The safety of the operator is very much in mind when designing this type of machine. Full skirt guards are provided to stop the operators feet accidentally being offered to the flail.

An emergency stop pull cord is fitted as standard.
